The following personal data is collected for the purpose of reviewing and responding to your job or speculative application; first name, last name, telephone number, e-mail address and role applied for (if applicable), along with any other personal data that you have chosen to include on your CV.
Who has access to my information and to whom is it disclosed?
Only Haddow Group staff members conducting recruitment procedures have access to your data. Your application is stored on a Haddow Group server.
Inside the Haddow Group office the data can only be accessed by designated staff; specifically, HR, IT and the Manager responsible for the recruitment process.
No data is transferred outside of the EEA.
What happens to my data if my application is successful?
If you are offered employment at Haddow Group (subject to a successful interview process), relevant information collected from you during the recruitment process will be transferred to be your employment file.
What happens to my data if I submit a speculative application or if I am not successful for employment?
Speculative applications will only be held on-file with your consent. The details of unsuccessful job applicants will be retained on file for a minimum of 6 months for the purpose of responding to any queries or employment claims. If you have submitted your CV to us via an employment agency, the agency should have obtained your permission for your application to be sent to, and retained by us.
How do Haddow Group protect and safeguard my information?
Haddow Group uses security measures to protect the stored personal data of our users from unauthorised access, improper use, alteration, unlawful or accidental destruction and accidental loss.
How can I verify, modify or delete my information?
If you wish to modify or delete your personal data after having submitted your CV please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 01274 360 400.
To find out what data the company holds about you, you can submit a Subject Access Request. This must be sent to us in writing via post or email.
How does Haddow Group proceed with processing and deleting my personal data?
If you do not ask for your data to be deleted or corrected, your personal data will remain on file for a minimum of 18 months.
We review and evaluate the data we hold as an organisation on a yearly basis and dispose of any data that is not considered relevant to our ongoing business operations. We will not transfer your data to a 3rd party.
Haddow Group will not use or transfer your work to a 3rd party without your express permission. Your portfolio and any work created for us during the recruitment and selection process, will remain your property and are used solely for the consideration of your application.
If you do not believe that Haddow Group has handled your data correctly you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
